A picture of the ancient stone dove that was Nick’s housewarming gift; for some reason it really spoke to me. Also the ‘joyful’ wildflowers, and two streets in Greek villages. Very evocative. 🙂
We wanted to post some of the pictures that inspired the prose. Below is one of the many dovecotes, found mainly on Tinos – doesn’t it look like a little castle?
Also a street in Mykonos, dramatic Greek scenery, and the inspiration for the passageway from the courtyard.
